Tirzepatide

Tirzepatide (also known as texipatide) is the world's first glucose-dependent insulinotropic peptide (GIP) and glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) dual receptor agonist developed by Eli Lilly and Company. It is primarily used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes, chronic weight management in adults, and as adjunctive therapy for moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea.
